Sharq Race 150: More Than Just a Rubber Snow Plow Blade - Equipment Blades Inc

The Race 150 is a great alternative to standard single insert carbide snow plow blades. This blade has 12" carbide segments encased in a tough rubber that allow the segments to perform amazingly.  The 12" carbide sections allow for flexibility to effectively cut ice, dig into wheel ruts, and have forgiveness with uneven surfaces. This blade goes easier on the paint and cleans better than most plow blades and better than all snow plow rubber cutting edges.

Why Rubber?

This rubber allows the encased carbide 12" segments to run quiet and smooth with some flexibility. Like other rubber snow plow blades, the rubber on the Race 150 absorbs impact and vibration that reduces noise and vibration in the cab.  When the rubber absorbs the vibration and impact, the carbide naturally lasts up to 3 to 4 times longer than traditional single insert carbides.

Why Carbide?

Virgin carbide is very, very hard, up to 1200 brinell.  It wears for a long, long period of time, which reduces down time and the need to change blades as frequently.  So when you combine carbide with a rubber case framework you get more than just a rubber snow plow blade, you get the ultimate cutting edge! Operators rave over how much quieter and smoother these blades run.  This will become your go-to snow plow cutting edge.

The Race 150 can fit any standard highway punch moldboard/frog for a one way, directional, under body or dozer/pusher.  The Race 150 will save you time and money.
